We live in a political climate of generalised distrust. At the same time activists, artists, and academics from different backgrounds, struggles and disciplines are joining forces across cities, communities and countries to build a new Europe based on equality and justice for, by and with people.

On the occasion of the Warsaw Biennale 2022, the transnational activist research & education project "Trust Without Borders" realised by European Alternatives arrives in Warsaw. A joint research and learning workshop invites LGBTQI* and digital activists, artists, and academics to reflect on how to organize trust and solidarity beyond the divisions and borders of communities, struggles and nations.

Participants will invited to tell their stories of trust and distrust, to analyse the social structures of the current political climate of generalised distrust, and to share strategies and methods to re-build trust and solidarity. The workshop will be hosted by Georg Blokus and Elisa Calosi, experienced movement educators and trainers of European Alternatives' School of Transnational Organizing.
